"Free watermark on Gemini" is a Chrome extension that removes watermarks from Gemini-generated images and optionally adds a custom logo. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Specifically:

• No images are sent to any external server. All image processing happens entirely within your browser.
• No browsing history, search queries, or personal information is collected.
• No analytics, tracking, or telemetry data is gathered.
• No cookies are set by this extension.

Local Storage

The extension uses Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local) to save:

• Usage statistics (number of images processed) — stored locally on your device only.
• Donation status — whether you have supported the extension.
• Custom logo image — stored locally as a data URL on your device only.
• Logo display preferences (enabled/disabled, size).

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

• storage — To save your preferences and usage stats locally.
• activeTab — To interact with Gemini web pages.
• declarativeNetRequest — To block watermark image requests.
• Host permissions for gemini.google.com and aistudio.google.com — To intercept and process generated images on these sites only.

Third-Party Services

This extension does not use any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs. The optional donation links redirect to PayPal's website when clicked by the user.
